This platform ("quietask") is operated by Dominik Hintringer, Austria. By using quietask, you agree to the following terms:

1. Use of the Platform

  • quietask is a free platform for anonymously or registered sharing of questions and thoughts.
  • Registration is optional and can be done with or without an email address.
  • If you provide an email address, you agree to receive notifications (e.g. when someone replies to your question).
  • The platform may only be used for private, non-commercial purposes.

2. Content & Behavior

  • You may not publish any content that violates applicable law, ethical principles, or our guidelines (e.g. hate speech, discrimination, extremist or illegal content).
  • An automatic filter removes problematic terms ("bad words"). Nevertheless, we reserve the right to review and remove content at any time.
  • Users can report questions or comments from others if they appear problematic.
  • The anonymity of users will be respected. Do not publish personal data of others without their consent.

3. Features

  • You can ask questions, comment, upvote, save questions, and follow or unfollow other users.
  • Your profile can be public or private – you decide.
  • Questions can be embedded into external websites using a provided embed code.
  • Algorithms help you discover relevant content. This delivery is anonymous and without personal profiling.

4. Availability & Support

  • quietask is free to use. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

5. Liability & External Content

  • We are only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations.
  • For external content accessible via links or embeds, the respective providers are solely responsible. quietask accepts no liability for this.

6. Changes

The Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published on this page and take effect once they are posted. If you continue to use the platform after the changes come into effect, this will be deemed acceptance of the updated terms.
